Our Story

On the 15th of February 2003 Francois and Maryna decided to tie the knot. And guess where, at Eagles Nest chapel. Twenty one years and two gorgeous, healthy and happy children later we are back at Eagles Nest and this time to make another dream come true. To offer upmarket family holiday accommodation to our guests. As our lives together started at Eagles Nest chapel, we want to fulfil the dreams of many more couples yet to come.

We have come to learn over the years that one of the most precious resources we all have is time, and at Eagles Nest, time stands still. With just over thirty eight years of hospitality experience between the two of them, they have a very fine eye for detail and knows just how to make every holiday experience an unforgettable and memorable one.

Let’s introduce you to our kids.

Shannon, now 20 years old, is a fun-loving young lady with a huge passion for nature, especially for animals.  Shannon's sharp sense of humour is very much enjoyed by all around her. She loves baking, cooking and trying out new recipes.  

Shaun, now 15 years old, is a very soft hearted, caring and super intelligent chap. He loves sports and dreams of becoming a Springbok rugby player.

Francois and Maryna enjoy spending time outdoors with the family, cooking together and entertaining.
